What is SIS?

Super Inductive System (BTL SIS) – how does it work?

Super Inductive System (SIS), also known as BTL SIS, is a modern, non-invasive therapy that uses a high-intensity electromagnetic field. The impulses penetrate the tissues and reach deeper neuromuscular and skeletal structures, producing controlled stimulation – without applicator-to-skin contact and without pain.

I am pleased to announce that the BTL-6000 SIS device is now available at my practice: Fizjoterapia Michał Gołąbek, Warsaw Wola, 29 Młynarska St. This technology is used in modern rehabilitation, orthopaedics and sports medicine – and now you can benefit from it in the heart of Wola.

  • Painless and non-invasive – no needles or drugs
  • Contactless therapy – no gels or electrodes
  • Parameters tailored to your condition

Therapeutic effects

Main effects of SIS therapy in physiotherapy

What BTL SIS super inductive stimulation offers in practice

Pain relief

A wide range of frequencies makes it possible to address acute, subacute and chronic pain. The therapy helps reduce discomfort in the musculoskeletal system.

Joint mobilisation

Repeated contractions of the muscles around the joint capsule help restore physiological joint play and improve range of motion.

Support for healing and recovery

Improved local circulation and tissue metabolism support healing processes, including bone union – in line with indications.

Muscle stimulation and relaxation

Depending on the frequency, the therapy strengthens weakened muscles or relaxes overloaded and spastic ones.

The BTL-6000 SIS features an ergonomic applicator on a multi-jointed arm and an applicator cooling system that keeps the device stable during treatment. Ready-made therapeutic protocols and an anatomical atlas allow the parameters to be matched precisely to the condition and body area.

  • Multi-jointed arm – precise positioning over the treated area
  • Applicator cooling – stable performance during treatment
  • Ready-made protocols and anatomical atlas – parameters matched to the condition
  • Contactless therapy – comfortable for the patient

A short interview and assessment of the problem. We check the indications and any contraindications to therapy.

2

Setting parameters

I choose the protocol and stimulation parameters suited to your condition and body area.

3

Treatment

The applicator is positioned over the treated area. You feel gentle tingling and rhythmic muscle contractions. Treatment time depends on the condition.

4

Afterwards

The therapy requires no recovery period – you can usually return to daily activities straight away. The number of sessions is set individually.

The duration of a single treatment and the number of sessions depend on the condition – I determine them individually during the consultation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about SIS

Everything worth knowing before your first visit

No. The therapy is painless and non-invasive. Patients usually feel gentle tingling and rhythmic muscle contractions. I adjust the intensity to your comfort.

The duration of a single treatment and the number of sessions depend on the condition, its severity and the body area. I set the therapy plan individually during the consultation.

In most cases no – the electromagnetic field passes through thin clothing and the therapy is contactless (no gels or electrodes). If it is necessary, I will let you know during the consultation.

SIS uses an electromagnetic field of much higher intensity, which acts on deeper neuromuscular structures and can trigger muscle contraction. Classic magnetotherapy is gentler and usually more superficial.

The most important include: a pacemaker and other implanted electronic devices, metal implants in the treated area, pregnancy and active cancer. We discuss the full list during the consultation – the final decision on qualification is made by the physiotherapist.
