What is physiotherapy? Non-invasive treatments support tissue regeneration following injuries, surgery and in chronic conditions, improving blood circulation and metabolism.
Effects: Pain reduction, accelerated healing, reduction of inflammation, improved blood flow. Relief is often felt after the first treatments.
What is shockwave therapy? This method uses high-energy acoustic waves that penetrate deep into the tissues, stimulating the body's natural regenerative processes.
How does the treatment work? I locate the pain point, apply gel and use an applicator to generate acoustic waves. You will feel pulsation and pressure — the intensity is controlled throughout.
Effects: The waves break up calcifications, stimulate the formation of new blood vessels and activate natural healing processes. A course of 3–5 sessions at weekly intervals. Effectiveness up to 90%!
What is therapeutic massage? It is a form of manual therapy that involves mechanical manipulation of the body's soft tissues to improve their function, reduce pain and ease muscle tension.
How does the therapy work? After a brief interview about your complaints, you lie on a treatment table in a warm, comfortable environment. I use natural oils and adjust the massage intensity to your preferences. Sessions last from 25 to 50 minutes.
What is kinesiotherapy? It is a treatment method that uses physical exercise to restore the normal function of the musculoskeletal system, improve muscle strength, range of motion and coordination.
How does the therapy work? The first visit consists of a functional assessment — I test range of motion, strength and balance. I then create an individual exercise programme. During sessions we work together and I demonstrate the correct technique.
Effects: You receive a set of home exercises. I monitor progress every 2–4 weeks. The goal is not only pain relief, but also learning correct movement patterns.
